Live Painting | Palais Sommer: Klaviernacht

This summer, I performed as a live painting artist at the Palais Sommer's Klaviernacht — an open-air piano night at the heart of Dresden's Neumarkt. As Korean pianist Ahhyun Lee took to the stage on the open platform next to the iconic Dresden Frauenkirche, I translated Chopin's piano sonata Op. 35 consisting of four movements into visual form in real time, continuing my ongoing series of works that render musical energy through expressive brushwork and drawing.
